You should know I can read you,
From the meaning behind the gleaming in your eyes,
To the furrow of your brow,
And the way you sigh when you try not to cry,

You should know I respect you,
The honesty you give to the way you live,
Denying nothing of your flaws,
You blame without shame and refuse to forgive,

You should know I see through you,
A transparent kind of guy with transparent lies,
Nothing so solid about you,
But the material store you adore to buy,

You should know I know you now,
And there’s nothing you can hide that I won’t find,
Your mystery is no mystery at all,
You strayed, you lied, and I’m leaving you behind.
