Maybe someone on this site will have heard of this poem. I have had it
published twice and it is recorded on a compact disc. But otherwise, I hope
you enjoy reading it!

Never Again

Each day and every night,
I stare out this small window having a feeling of fright.
I think and wonder, what life is like out yonder.

Eleven million and innocent killed,
The price paid can never be billed.
Hitler had to start the stupid hate,
Which cause millions their very own fate.

I have to stay in this little house,
As quiet as a mouse.
Separate from our crazy world,
Different races and religions all one big swirl.

Victims only wanting showers,
Didn’t know of the gas chambers powers.
Enough room for two thousand,
More than six million gone and deceased.

I know soon it will all end, it just all depends.
Soon just two simple words will ring through our ears.
Two simple words, which will comfort our fears.
Two simple words, which will stop the tears.
Two simple words, “never again.”
