You promised that we'd always be friends,
well always has come to an end.
We promised we'd share eachothers lives,
but now you're having a baby and I'm someone's wife.
We both had to grow up so fast,
we always thought that our childhood would last.
Remember all the good times we had together,
making memories that would last forever.
I cry when I look at your face,
knowing that no one could ever take your place.
But I still carry our memories every day,
hoping that our friendship will come back to stay.
