I remember the smell of that old dirt road
The way the trees somehow lined up perfect
The way I knew what was going to happen at the end
Which I can now not even begin to mend

Remember?

I remember leaning in for the first kiss
I wish it wouldnt have been the last
Throwing our clothes in the back of the truck
Not thinking all we knew was we were going to fuck

Remember?

To be eachothers first I thought would be great
Though the age difference was a bit to much to take
We promised not to tell
But not being a man was where you failed

Remember?

That hour of so much
It turned out to be so little
As I gazed into your eyes
I felt as if I wanted to actually cry

Remember?

Thats when we took the break
The one I was way to weak to take
Thats when I found out
And all the pressure began to mount

Remember?

I held that test in my hand
The truth that we couldnt beleive
It was going to be...ours
You and me

Remember?

We promised not to tell
But still the crowd began to talk
I could hardly walk...
Then we lost our one and only

Remember?

Thats when we stoped talking
We still dont aknowledge the other
Your just kind of one of those
Remember?
