"Time to leave" Restless American Heart

These days, the way i see it
We might as well quit
The sky is dark
And it breaks hearts
This new modern age
Feels more like a cage
So full of rage
Every day a new war to rage

You scream at me
I believe
It's time to leave
Chase these crazy dreams
And wear it on your sleeve
I believe
It's time to leave
You scream at me
It's time to leave
But remember me
And wear it on your sleeve
It's time to leave

It's been racing around my mind
We lost so much time
Trying to find
A smile
Trying not to cry
Nothing eases the pain
So lets catch the next train

You scream at me
I believe
It's time to leave
Chase these crazy dreams
And wear it on your sleeve
I believe
It's time to leave
You scream at me
It's time to leave
But remember me
And wear it on your sleeve
It's time to leave

We've been waiting for the sun
While we were young
Searching for the man who sold the world
Searching for all the pretty girls
I remember in the spring
We used to sing
All the songs about the king
And our broken wings
Oh we had fun
Waiting for the sun

Now i still wish we were there
Without a care
So full of love
Cause thats just enough
To get by
But were here in this lie
Telling ourselves all is wrong
When the birds cant sing their song
And time, and time is all but gone

It's hard to die
It's hard to die
It's hard to die
It's hard to die

You scream at me
I believe
It's time to leave
Chase these crazy dreams
And wear it on your sleeve
I believe
It's time to leave
You scream at me
It's time to leave
But remember me
And wear it on your sleeve
It's time to leave
