"Why?" she suddenly screams.
He looks at her coursly,
"Why, what?"
Her gaze goes toward the ground,
"Why does this have to hurt so much."
"I don't understand"
She looks up and into his eyes.
Tears are filling up in her own.
She says:

"My heart,
My heart is hurting.
It's full of pain.
Every night I cry,
Wishing that it'll go away.
He doesn't even know,
He's the cause of all of this.
But how could he.
Remember,
He doesn't even know.
I've been so good,
At hiding all my pain.
At crying behind closed doors.
And you know what?
He doesn't even know.
8 months in way too long.
8 months full of pain.
You'd think I was over him.
You'd think I was done.
But I still cry.
I still feel that pain.
The same pain I felt,
The day "It's Over" was said.
My heart,
My heart is still hurting."

He let out a deep breath,
Surprised at what was said.
"What are you trying to tell me?"
She looks away.
As the tears,
That were filling up in her eyes moments before,
Finally slid down her cheeks.
"What I'm saying is,
I guess I'm still in love with you"
Then he too,
Begins to feel the tears,
As he watches her walk away.
