It seems all has gotten worse since you left my side.
Rain falling on my face and mascara smudging under my eyes.
Lips quivering but the only thing that is cold is my heart…

Things once so beautiful now so hideous.
Things have no meaning they are blurred by a mask of darkness.

Eyes no longer a light brown but a sudden shade of grey. Lips tightly sewn
together. Silent screams muffled by the soft cotton of my pillow.

I see you pass by me but it’s not you. A different face, a different smile,
you’re a stranger that’s how much you’ve changed.

I didn’t know love ends so abruptly, ends so painfully with hateful words
and angry tears.

How could you? You left me standing alone within a desert nothing to quench
my thirst, my throat tight and dry choking on your words, “ I don’t love you
anymore.”

What has changed that you don’t like? What have I done for you to hate me?
What has the world done for you to change and make me hate you?

Our fairytale story never came true… You left me broken hearted… As you, my
soul and our once true love departed…
