Minot Swim Meet
manipulative arguments
over preteen undergarments.
And there they lay--
wrinkled, and sprawled astray.
I laughed to myself.
I guess.. they fell!
And it's so sophomoric,
I wrote a poem for it.
I love these swim meets
on the bus with little seats.
Those divers, you know,
do SO MUCH for the show.
They just NEED their OWN seats
because they're so tired from SITTING.
So we swimmers double up,
cramped together-- stuck.
Because it's not like WE work
we only there to be the jerks,
right?
So dive--
like you work hard.
And while you pose,
we swimmers will start.
