You push me down
Beneath heavy floors of brick
Knowing I won’t make a noise
You hold no worries
Behind that deviant smile

Climb up your ladder of eminence
Until you feel fulfilled
But the more I remain stagnant,
You seem harder to
Satisfy

My head clouds with complications
Your implications
They haunt every thought I’m forced to think
Though my feet linger here,
My head spins out of control
You would never guess
The windy roads it travels
Ceasing to begin
As well as my journey
Around this
Cape of Good Hope

These lips still stapled shut,
What a wonderful addition to your master plan
Your ignorance builds along
With your condescending actions
How I’d love to stamp out each and every
Cigarette of malice
But I refuse to succumb
My stance remains as follows
I’ll say it but once

I’m not you.
