i threw it away,
the only love i knew.
he was perfect,
maybe even the one
but not even hell would take me.

i gave you permission
to yell at my promsicious actvity
but i was met with silence.
we were perfect
a modern romeo and juliet.

i should have known,
romeo and juliet die,
there is no ever after.
i loved you
but my anger clouded everything.

you were naive
the fragments of your empty life
piecing together our friendship.
now its over
and my reflection is a stranger.
