Community Pool

You think you're too cool for the community pool
But you're not, you can swim with the rest of us
We'll even try not to piss in it if you do the same
But here we are on the broken diving board
Wishing that someone like you would look at us.
Why do we bother when you spit in our faces?
You go on cruises and we make paper boats.
Yours goes miles per hour, sometimes ours float.
You're like everyone else, atleast that's what i'm told,
But when you go in the water, it seems to turn into gold.
And if we were to float, you'd be so far above.
And i'd sink there looking at you because
I think I'm in love.
