My Awakening

A beautiful girl
On a soft summer evening
Was in awe to what she realized.
Basking in the glow of others
Was a common game
Of choice.
A frequent petition she so often
Signed.

The smile of love
Which never seemed to have
Existed before this night
Crept across her face
With a troublesome delight.

The blissful moon exclaimed
A gorgeous light across her face
To caress her face
And ensure her fallacies
Can no longer be mistakes.

This crazy boy
May be all that she needs
From this night forward.
And now days, will seem short
And nights long
Whenever she dreams...
Since her dreams are his apartment.
