Devil's Narrator

You step up to the microphone
All attention is on you
You’re the narrator in this hell
So what are you going to do?

The light is preparing to peek out of the clouds
That remain in their starry place
The fire is ready to burst out of the ground
And make it’s presence surface

Did I hear a mumble under the breath?
No, no, false alarm
Your words must be treasured for they could
Cause us both love and harm

Desperate for resurrection
We look for light in your eyes
Something cold still lingers
But we’ll assume that it’ll pass by

You add the poisonous icing
To this deathly flavoured cake
You finally speak, you don’t realize
That you’ve made a huge mistake

“The End”
