You Can Say You Didn't Cry

It’s getting tough but don’t let gravity
Become just another enemy
It might seem like this pain won’t leave
But you’ll soon find a remedy
They’ve hurt you but don’t show it
Don’t let the blotches fog your cheeks
No needle can numb it but just
Don’t let them think you’re weak
The things they do are twisted so that
You feel the misty eyes that they send
So tip your head back and let the tears
Sink back into your eyes again
It might hurt a little bit
You might feel it burn and it can sting
Somehow it may remind you of
The painful feeling of waxing
Holding it back will be worth it
Even though you may want to die
Because in the end, when it’s all over
You can say you didn’t cry
