She's Tainted

A pretty girl who never whispers
Secrets hidden behind her lips
Her eyes hold lies that never unfold
Not once will her cold cover slip
Oh, wouldn’t you like to know her name
Her real name burned into her soul
Oh, wouldn’t you like to know her secrets
But every word spoken has its toll
They all want to sign her year book
But they don’t know what to say
Because they don’t really know her
Even though they see her everyday
Maybe she’s not so perfect
Those walls of hers have doors
They’re locked up at the moment
But if you have the key, you’ll see more
Why do they want to know her?
She doesn’t want to have a weakness
Everyone wants to think she’s stainless
But no one should ever seek this
So please don’t say you love her
Because this girl is over-rated
Deep inside you’ll see
That this girl has been tainted
