What If They Weren't Coincidences?

If the wind whistled your name
Would you call for the speaker?
Is you saw your name written in the snow
Would you look for the writer?
What if you noticed a flower as you walked by?
What if you passed a girl, and she started to cry?
Would you think something of it, or just let it slide?
Would you let your mind tick, or push it aside?
The storm clouds above you don’t gurantee a pour
And the opportunities you pass don’t gurantee a door
If you knocked, and I answered, would you walk away?
If I invited you in, would you go or stay?
If you suddenly felt better, would you think any further?
Or are these sudden coincidences not head turners?
What if you found out that all these little things weren’t coincidental?
That I whistled your name and wrote it in the snow
I planted the damn flower, I cried on that street
What if you felt better because you knew I was thinking of you?
What if that door opened and there stood ME?
Would you follow the wind, dance in the snow
Smell the flower, Wipe away my tears
Would you think of me?
Would you come inside my world?
If I added all these sparks to your life just for you
Would it be such a coincidence if you liked me too?
