Walking Past Your Grave

All those horrible moments,
All those horrible days.
I remembered when you died.
It was all because of one dumb little fight.

When I walked past your grave,
I felt a little kiss on my cheek.
That was nothing,
I told myself.

When I walked back to my house.
I found a pink envelope.
There on the pink stationary,
It said "I love you."
I threw it away,
Tears pouring out quickly.
That was just one little thing.

When I walked past your grave,
I knew who it was.
I felt who it was.
And I knew it was you,
But I know that it was nothing.

When I walked past your grave once again,
I heard something whispering into my ear,
"I love you."

From that day on,
I felt loved.
But I still thought...
That that was still nothing.
