Sitting alone in my room
Listening as life passes by
Writing things down
In a journal not mine
It contains the thoughts of another
Memories and feelings long past
A time of things forgotten
They've all come to an end
Caused by the chaos of love
A part of me wants it again
But I can never go back
Trust is a lie
And love a tragedy
Nothing but pain comes from them
I know that now
The feelings are still there
Buried deep never to be found
Forgiveness is overrated
For you it will never come
Don't bother trying
I'm better without you
The drama is gone
It may hurt this way
But the pain less
The goal is more.
