Sickening Smirk

The whisper in your desperate ear
Telling you things no one else would say
The ghostly glow when I am near
Could make you wish for your dying day
Wearing a smirk so sickening
On a face sewn with thoughts
The tension is only thickening
As you see into my plots
Wrapping my merciless thread
Around the feet of an innocent mind
One inevitable trip and they’re dead
If only they weren’t so blind
Fingers walk upon testy skin
Goosebumps create a path
Your looks of terror provoke my grin
As the cold wind shows its wrath
One sharp finger nail grazes your arm
A trail of blood kisses your cream cover
And though I mean you no harm
You can’t help but wonder
Lastly I’ll kiss your pale cheek
In this chess game you’re only a pawn
And then I’ll wait until you’re weak
When you’re about to collapse, I’m gone
