Obesity Is War

They say they love my body
Sweet compliments give me the urge
I have to stay beautiful
Must continue to binge and purge
My hip bones are sticking out
Can you see my ribs?
"No thanks, I just ate"
Another nightly fib
My stomaches getting flatter
You tell me you're impressed
But trust me, there are still pounds to go
I can see it when I'm undressed
Now you think I'm unhealthy
Forcing me to eat
Hunny, obesity is war
And I'm aiming to defeat
I only skip a few meals
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
But that's the price you got to pay
Your reawrd is getting thinner
I hear it from strangers
"Damn that girl is small"
But believe me, I own a mirror
And I don't agree at all.
