Dearest daddy it is fathers day
and you are still not here,
but I'm not going to cry this time
like Ive done every other year.
See this year things are different
I'm accepting the awful fact
that no matter what I do or say
your never coming back.
So this year I will pray for you
and know God will do the rest,
please forgive me dad for giving up
but what did you expect.
There comes a time when we must move on
my lives about to change
but remember dad I love you
and you'll never be replaced.
