Spiraling down a dark tunnel
Filled with objects so uncalled for
Only to land with a thump
On what would forever change me

Swinging and swaying
Around a rabbit with no time for me

Tick tock
Tick tock
And off you go again

London bridges are falling down
Undetected by my oblivious cheerfulness
As I dance in captivating circles
With Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb

You love me
You don't
You love me
I don't
Understand you sometimes

Inhaling intoxicating wisps
From the smoking caterpillar
Slowly becoming infected
With the pure essence of you

Addicted
Conflicted
Clutching my lungs

Like the Cheshire cat
You're there and then you're not
I've stopped trying to find you
Because you always disappear

Rip me
Scar me
I'm in your wonderland now

Now have a cup of tea with me
And distract me from misery
Un-birthdays are all I have now
And rare they are

Half a cup
Never
Give me all you've got

Being introduced to flamingo croquet
Placed me in such a different game
Because she may be the Queen of Hearts
But you're the king of mine

Target
Hit
Echoes
Of a dying victory

Now I'm getting dizzy
Because I've eaten the wrong mushroom
Problems escalating through the roof
It's a small world after all

Bop
Crash
Pout
Shouldn't
Have gone through your things

Crying oversized tears
Tumbling down a whole new tunnel
Lost in a dark forest
Filled with infidelities and unspoken words

Tick Tock goes the clock
Terribly confused
Much too Addicted
Unwillingly Abused
Targeted fiercely
Sprouting dangerously up
Still crying because
I only got half a cup

Of what was fully mine
