Why do our hearts feel the pain
yet our minds acknowledge the anguish
Our stomachs churn in bitter silence
and our lungs crave for cleansing air

Our heads throb with tormented memories
and our empty arms tense with loneliness
Our legs weaken from heavy hearts
and our backs spasm in sadness

Yet heartache is an emotion
not a physical disease
But our body suffers so much pain
to cope with our broken dreams

This emotion can end our living
or make us determined to survive
It all depends on your characters strength
to cope with the emotions in your life

I have been through all these symptoms
yet I have survived them, that is true
So now I have the bodies immunity
to life's emotion disease.
