Breathing in the destructive burn,
Exhaling out my last cry for help,
Hiding in secrecy,
Lying to value,
Assuring that I'm alright,
Promising that I'm ok,
Turning away and crying to sleep,
No one understands,
My thoughts and fears,
Are too close to me,
Everything I am against,
Is everything that I am,
My mind so strong,
Is now so weak,
My heart and soul,
And feelings for you,
Scare me away,
Your hand I know,
Is free to take,
But your innocence is not,
And I refuse to break,
Sacrificing the one thing I have,
Goodbye to feelings,
I'm too weak to keep.
