Scattered in the fire
Is where my soul lies
Burned by greedy flames
Waiting there to die
Becoming black and crisp
Brittle and broken still
I threw it in with rage
Only wanting to kill
The pain of waking up
And the dreading every day
I knew it would be best
To throw it all away
My cold lonely tears
Slowly drown this hole
But it won't fully fill
For I have lost my soul
