Conflagration of Perspective

The moonlight flickers,
as a flame dances in the wind.
My mind afloat with racing thoughts,
Rhythmic words of soul.

Desiring so strong,
My fingers tap this paper rough;
Tapestry of life –
I'll study it until meaningless.
Smiling of daydreams so smooth,
Love and beauty captivate my steps.

Walking upon glass so clean,
My vision displays these endless days;
Vivid
Clear
Inconspicuous and real.
Knowing my wants,
Understanding each thought.
Complexity baffles others;
And I smile,
Knowledgable of me.
