I can feel the life flow back into my fingers,
As I watch these clouds
form into tiny people.
They're all clapping for me
as they watch my silhouette
rise above this mountainous cliff.
Gradually, then suddenly,
I'm revived by a memorandum of joy–
My feet trace these unfamiliar crevises
in the rock that lay just beneath.
The texture is something so real,
and unbelievable all at once.
I look ahead at a life,
no longer deprived of beauty.
A range of colors so wide
and spectacular, my breathing is
racing
with an unbelievable,
quenched thirst.
Seen through the transparent beam of light,
I'm welcomed by the the open arms and hearts of loved ones.
Accepted for me,
I finally acknowledge my presence.
