As I sit here and try to figure out what to say
I realize that there’s nothing that will explain
Nothing to express our hurt or bring you back
Nothing to subsidize all our pain

There is nothing I can ever write
No image I can ever draw
No song we can ever sing
To proclaim how you had everyone in awe

But I do believe you see in our hearts
I believe you hear our whispers to you
Our cries at night and misty eyes
And every feeling that we go through

I do believe that you are better now
And will help us to be better one day too
I do believe that you love us all
And although you’re gone you still provide the glue

The glue to keep this family together
And don’t let us pull back
You will fight for us here or there
And will keep us all on track

You left to a better place
And although we all question why
We know that you’re our Angel
And God has a place for you on high

I don’t have to tell you how we wish you were here
How each passing day it’s hard to bear
For you see the admiration when we speak your name
And our pride when we think of the woman you became

Now you live through each of us
As we go through each and every day
And we have an Angel knelt beside us
Every time we pray

The remembrance of you will never be lost
And now you’re with us every time we close our eyes
We can see the smiling face of a lovely Angel
Who will forever be there to wipe away our cries
