Gray Bastards

Whipped elephants stampede
On the inside of my suffering skin
I try hard to reposition myself
In a way where the gray bastards will
Fall down and break their skulls

I send Advil on a rapid river ride
Down my taste bud welcome mat
To multiply into safari soldiers
And tranquilize the beasts within
Before dragging them back to camp

No, no, eat them if you want
Use the tusks to make statues
Representing your great victory

But curse you, stupid Advil
The elephants ran over your legs
I feel each step against me and
It’s getting harder to concentrate
In the end, I surrender
To the never dying cramps
