Shed a tear,
Fake a smile.
Its all the same after awhile.
Your words are cold,
Your eyes are dark,
You're the reason for these marks.
Your hurtful words,
Your burning stare,
It follows me everywhere.
I get chills,
When I hear your name,
I'm sick and tired of this game.
You say you love,
I know it's true,
But it's getting to the point where I can't handle you.
You raise your hand,
You make a fist,
Why are you always like this?
Bruise my skin,
Break my heart,
This abuse is tearing me apart.
You make me hurt,
You make me cry,
The "happiness" we have is just a lie.
