We'll meet again

I wish I could tell you one more story,
Or at least laugh at one last joke.
I regret that you did not wait for me,
For now I know how it feels to lose someone close.

Our bodies may have parted,
But our souls have surely not.
As your’s still rests in mine.
For whenever I think of you,
I regain peace of mind.

We’ll meet again someday,
Whether it is tomorrow or next year,
We’ll share another story or tell another joke,
And once again, we will be close.

For the Lord has promised,
And so have I,
I will see you again,
But for now,

Good Bye
