Alone she sits
by day
by night
the darkness of her eyes
show no sign of life

alone she sits
the lost girl
in a cruel world
pondering her purpose
questioning her life

as each question is answered
a little more of her dies

alone she sits
an unordinary girl
waiting for the first glance
waiting for the world.
