I am a fallen angel
Cast out of the realm of life
and banished to the plain of death
I was lost
With useless wings and a newfound soul,
I didn't know what to do
Ignorance was missed and emotions were new
Nothing was the same

But then there was you
You taught me how to laugh again
You told me not to be scared of my tears
You shared with me your soul and
I learned how to live once more
You taught me how to spread my wings
And fly again
I found something better than bliss that day
I found you
