My Dead Lover's Eyes

When the sun sets and the moon rises
My lonely heart sobs with only pain
For you my only love has slipped away
Your eyes gaze from the coffin wishing this is just a dream
I look into your eyes seeing all of your life
Although dead, your history can be seen and thought
Gazing into your eyes I see your demons,
Your solitary fear of death
Fading away slowly as you become more and more dead
Dead by the body but not the mind

At your grave I stand writing you a letter:
To my one and only love
May you rest in peace forever
Miss you yes I definately will
Pain inside me when you shall leave me
May you think positively as you slumber your everlasting sleep
Therefore death can be bliss for some
Hard times shall come to me and you
I hope that we can get through it together...
Someday.
