Broken Baby Girl

I used to stay up late at night
and I would always hug my pillow tight.
I would wait for you to come back
everyone would be sleeping but I was lying on my back.
Looking at the ceiling and waiting for you,
I was always there waiting until two.
But you were drunk and could barely walk to your room,
I always knew when you were home cause all I herd was boom! boom! boom!
I'm older now and know more things about life than I should,
I want to forget all the things I saw living with you I really wish I
could.
Last month you ruined a day that was about you, and every father,
It was Father's Day, and you came to town drunk and told someone to stab
you... my brother.
I'm so disappointed in you dad,
I never thought I would ever feel that bad.
You told me that I would always be your baby girl,
Well I'm sorry but now I'm your broken baby girl.
