They Haven't A Clue

Wiccan, to some it is an evil way,
you worship a devil that's what they say,
They haven't a clue.

They say Christianity has been around for 2,000 years,
Witches have been burned for only 1,000 of those years,
They haven't a clue.

You sacrifice animals and people for your cause,
Bleeding things with hooves, feet and paws,
They haven't a clue.

Well I will say this, I have heard these things for years,
I ask my gods and goddesses to help them and to hold back my tears,
For they haven't a clue.

Should I tell them I can trace my religion's roots almost 3 millinea back?
That all life is sacred, I won't even pick a flower without giving that
plant something back,
They haven't a clue.

"Harm None" That is what I do.
If they only had a clue.
