I wait for the day

I wait for the day,
When your heart
Is within my reach,
A smile filled
Genuine bless,
Shows on your mask
of Indifference,
Laughter without tears or regret
Flow from your eyes and lips,
To tell me
You have stop thinking
Of the past.

I saw a soul filled with
A vast maze of secrets,
Craving a emotional touch
Of another,
Finding a purpose
To relive again,
While I gazing in your ever-changing eyes.

Commitment and promises
Bestow blooding scars,
To tell your silent tales
Of war, blood, and betrayal;
Old love refuses to remove its spell,
Always rolling in the corners of your mind
Haunting your dreams.

Knowing your unspoken pain and memories,
I wait for the day,
When your heart
Releases past fears and regrets,
Let's me into your tattered soul
To start the healing,
That time has forgotten.
