Returning the Anguish

Delicate soul, defiant love;
turn your head, look above.
Teasing pain, haunting hate;
change your mind, it's not too late.
Conflicted harmony, demented illusions;
hide your pain, define your confusions.
Denounce foes, express defeat;
prove them wrong, they can't compete.
Disguise unknown, refuge invaded;
expose yourself, not completely faded.
Forbidden smile, beguiled mind;
agony and terror is what you find.
Experienced intensity, vaguely missed;
express yourself, include a brutal twist.
Desired confessions, fondle denial;
defend your stance, torment awhile.
Force compensation, commit the crime;
consume their fear, it's their time.
Delightly beyond, fortune served;
gained composure, their resentment deserved.
