I remember the first day we met you were wearing overalls and sandals
Who would have guessed you’d be more that I could handle
When I was lost and confused and my life was at its worst
When I needed some help you were the first
I knew it right then my life had changed forever
It would never be complete unless we were together
You make me smile and always make me laugh
All the good times we have had and sometimes catching your wrath
Nothing has been strong enough to break us only sometimes we bend
No matter what ever happens you know you got me till the end
You showed me there’s more to life then being in control
No one gets me like you do such a beautiful soul
When there’s something you want you have to take hold
Ill get you one day even if it takes till I’m eighty years old
Not done fighting wont take no for an answer
Do whatever it takes even if it means becoming a good dancer
When you told me you were moving on it was tears is cried
Because just for a moment it felt like part of me had died
But it’s not over not even for a second
Nothing can come between us I wont ever let it
No idea what will happen next and if will be together again
But I cant live my whole life wondering what would have been
So I say this on closing or should I say starting
Because our relationship is not over just a temporary parting
