Dear God,

Since I was a little girl
I was always told to believe
In you, the almighty God
And the book you gave us to perceive

I am writing to you now God
To tell you I'm losing hope
Because of everything I've dealt with
And with everything I've had to cope

I'm starting to lose my faith
I pray to you almost every night
But no matter how many times I pray
I never seem to win the fight

God, I need your help
I'm starting to believe you're not real.
If you really did care about us
Then why is pain something I always feel?

I think I've dealt with enough God
It's time you start helping me out
Because I won't last much longer in this place
I know this, without a doubt.
