Sounds of The Streets!

You know I can’t sleep unless I hear.
Sounds that would make a square tremble in fear.
Like I always hear sounds of mamas crying.
And every ten seconds police sirens.
To notify me that someone’s dieing.
Tell me do you think I’m lying.
I can’t sleep at night with peace at ease.
Unless I hear these sound in the streets.
Cars hopping and knocking beats.
Lighters lighting to keep the peace.
The fights of gangs I love the scuffle.
Money exchanging during the hustle.
Weights being lift to increase the muscle.
The creating of words such as tussle.
I can’t sleep unless I hear the cooking of rocks.
The boiling of the water in pots.
Doors being kicked in by the cops.
And at least ten or eleven shots being popped.
I can’t sleep unless I hear kids hopping fences.
Stealing from others to stack there own riches.
Real street niggas doing away with the snitches.
At least two bodies being thrown in the ditches.
You know I can’t sleep at night but it’s all good.
Because I rather not sleep than hear these sounds in my hood.
