Spur of the Moment

I'm quiet as I look at you, as your eyes pierce through my soul
Your hands on me, and mine on you...I'm lacking self-control
Let's take this one step further, you'll control me with all your
might.
A momentary lapse of judgment, and I'm here without a fight.
I feel the magic in your breath and the deception in your smile
You've lied before, why stop now? You know I'll stay here for
awhile.
It's cute the way you say you're here, and how you'll never
leave
But baby, how do you know if it's you that I believe?
I'm pulling you along, just like the way you're pulling me
You may think that I'm not like you, but someday I'll set you
free.
I've got you wrapped around my finger, you won't move unless
you're told
Thoughts keep rushing back; it was my hand you tried to hold.
Yesterday was a mistake, and tomorrow is not for sure
Next time I go to your place, make sure you shut the door.
I'm thinking we'll start over, and this time it'll be for
real
No more lies, no more deceit, no feelings left concealed.
I hope you know that all I've said will never stop ringing true.
I'm not too great with chances, but I'll risk it all for you.
