If a stranger asked me if I hurt you, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I break your heart, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I lie to you, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I smother you, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I aggravated you, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I looked at others, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I got jealous, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I act like a bitch, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I treat you wrong, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I abused the body that you loved, I’d have to say
I do.
If a stranger asked me if I loved you, I’d have to say
I do.
If that very same stranger asked me to marry them I would.
Because if you haven’t noticed the stranger in my life is you.
