Shy from the world
Afraid that her past can come back
Fearful of what her future might hold
No one really understands her
Not even her best friend
If only someone knew her
If only they understood her
If only they knew what was underneath her skin
They would laugh, cry, and enjoy the good times
She needs to peel that skin off
She needs to fly
She needs to be free
