Sex Is Not Love

Aw sweet child why did you believe.
You know he would be the one to deceive.
How could you be so naive.
Love is not sex and you did conceive.

Baby you are only thirteen years old.
What are you going to do with a child in a world that is so cold.
Don't you realize that your childhood has been sold and there is no
happily ever after it's just another sad story told.

Baby what did you think?
You think he was the love of your life after one drink?
Trying to seduce you with a sweet kiss and a wink.
Then after he got what he wanted he left before you could even blink.

Baby were you looking for affection?
And you looked for a connection after experiences of rejection. He made you
believe that you were his perfection.
Now you get up disgusted with your reflection.
Too late your pregnant now you wanna run but in what direction?

But now the deed is done.
Now you are left pregnant with one young son.
Your life begins to unfold come undone.
Trying to look through the rain to find the sun.
Trying to look for a shoulder to cry on but there are none.

Now 9 months later you sit in that hospital room alone.
One night only made you think your grown.
In your eyes the pain is being shown.
I think you realize you are no longer a queen upon her throne. Left to raise
a child on your own.

A child that comes from your blood and bone.
The future unclear and left unknown.
