I miss you, Tim

I miss you, Tim
You were there for me when I most needed you
You held me when I cried
You dried my tears and told me everything would be okay
You were the one that opened my eyes to so many things

I miss you, Tim
We could've been so much
But we weren't
We could've done so much
But we didn't
We could've gone so far together
But it just didn't work out

I miss you, Tim
More than I ever thought I would, I could

Why didn't we talk more,
Why didn't we ever use the time we had
to see each other,
be together,
feel for one another

We were so dumb
We could have had it all,
but we decided to take nothing,
how stupid have we been

I miss you, Tim
And I want you to come back
This time I want to do it right
I want to show you how much you mean to me
And give back to you everything you've given to me

The summer was hard,
we could've made it so much easier
The winter will be even harder,
and this time,
we won't be together

I miss you Tim, even if you don't know it
I think about you more than I ever thought I would, I could,
And maybe one day, it'll all be okay again,
You here, with me, just like it used to be,
and nothing else will ever matter
But right now, I just miss you, Tim
