You leave a wonderfully warm taste in my mouth
You are dark and sweet and have a way of making me smile
I like it that I can have you whenever I want
You are always there for me morning, noon, or evening
I have read many books with you by my side
You’ve accompanied me on many of my travels
You have even come with me to my classes
I have sat across the table from you and poured out my feelings
You’ve seen me at my best and at my very worst
You are a constant companion who is never judgmental and always makes me
happy
