Another Tragedy so near but seems so far,
Happening so violent it will leave a scar.
You think it could never happen to you,
but the families of victims thought that too.
Is there no safe place anywhere?
If not church or school then where?
No where to run, No where to hide,
but in this world we must abide.
In this place where nothing is respected,
and no one's life can be protected.
Why does this happen in our world today?
I don't know the answer so I pray,
A lonely tear escapes my eye.
Why do the innocent have to die?
