In the darkness which I dwell,
I met a guy I loved so well.
He took a girl upon his knee,
and told her things he never told me.
As I got home that afternoon,
I walked passed everyone to my room.
I lie there thinking on my bed,
not a word to anyone I had said.
My father got home late that night,
and looked for me left to right.
Up the stairs my door he broke,
and found me hanging from a rope.
He took a knife and cut me down,
and on the ground a note he found:

“Dig a grave, dig it deep.
Place a statue, at my feet.
And on the statue, place a dove.
To show the world - I died for love!”.
