Et tu, Brute?

Such a coward
a liar, a cheat.
I knew one day, that you'd turn on me
but still I was blindsided when it came.
I trusted you- held you close
gave you my all
but you were the one to push me
and laughing watched me fall.
Et tu, Brute?
how could you? (how could you?)
how dare you? (how dare you?)
So fuck you
and all your self-serving ways.
you're nothing but a pitiful mess
that a handful pills couldn't fix anyway.
a whore exaggerating your hardships
has no right to judge.
sadistic blood, can you even still feel real love?
or like everything else about you
is it just a cheap imitation of the real thing?
Fuck you
I hope you learn one day.
For someone who claims real knowledge
it seems karma has slipped your mind.
Fuck you
for all the pain you caused
and every time those pretty lips lied.
Et tu, Brute?
I see now how blindly I followed.
Et tu, Brute?
I see now how little I knew.
Et tu, Brute?
how could you? (how could you?)
Et tu, Brute?
how dare you? (how dare you?)
